Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Practice Expedition

We had a fantastic weekend with our Bronze DofE participants in the beautiful setting of Walesby Forest and the surrounding countryside. The weather was kind and on day 1 all of our participants completed a 15km walk. All groups managed to navigate the walk and complete the challenging distance and had a wonderful time out in nature with their friends. Once the walk was completed they then set up camp, cooked their evening meal and camped overnight ready for day 2 of walking. All of our participants did Ivanhoe really proud and we got very positive feedback about their behaviour and conduct. The staff on the expedition really enjoyed seeing participants out on the route and encouraging all participants to complete it. The whole weekend showed the true Ivanhoe spirit of being ambitious, determined, respectful and caring for others. We are all looking forward to our qualifying expedition in a few weeks time.
