We believe we can make a difference, so we aim for the highest quality learning in every lesson, every day. Developing learners is at the core of all we do and conversations about Teaching and Learning are at the heart of the school ethos.

We consistently find that our students respond remarkably to the high expectations that we put on them. But, our curriculum is so much more than what goes on in any classroom. 

We feel it is incredibly important to develop ‘The Whole Child’ and we encourage curiosity and questioning from our students. The student voice is an important part of setting the strategic direction of our school.

At Ivanhoe we encourage and support a school communty where everyone cares, everyone apsires and individuals who flourish in their future. We actively support any areas that interest our students, whether this be curriculum subjects, extra-curricular opportunities at school or external competitions and clubs: we love to celebrate the successes of our students. At Ivanhoe we value so much more than just academic achievement; we help students to take on Leadership Roles, be Pro-Social and have a Growth Mindset, and thus help them find their place in society.
