At Ivanhoe School, our vision is a secondary school community where everyone cares, everyone aspires, and everyone thrives. Our goal, as teaching and support staff, is to empower individuals on their educational journeys, fostering their development into happy, successful, informed, and resilient young adults. We strive to prepare young people to make meaningful contributions to the world around them. 

Our learners are at the heart of everything we do, and our mission is to work together to champion the growth of hearts that care, minds that aspire and individuals who flourish in their future. This commitment to excellence was highlighted in our recent Ofsted inspection, where we achieved a 'Good' rating across all areas. According to the Ofsted Report 2025:

"The school has high expectations of what pupils can achieve. Pupils strive to meet these expectations. They behave well in lessons and work hard. Pupils learn well across the curriculum, gaining knowledge and producing work of good quality."

We are dedicated to the holistic education and development of every learner, confident that the enrichment experiences we provide alongside our formal curriculum will enable every learner to reach their full potential. Our school culture is built on thriving together through our core values, and we establish clear expectations for our students in alignment with the Ivanhoe Way. This approach emphasises consistent attendance, a positive attitude, and a commitment to achievement.
