SCHOOL MEALS PRICE INCREASES
We must notify parents that from August 2023 there will be price increases to school meals.
We have tried to keep the prices as low as possible for as long as possible, but as you know the cost of food and energy bills continue to be very high.
A meal deal which includes either a:
· a main item (sandwich or hot item from the meal cab), biscuit & carton drink
· a hot meal & main dessert
Will increase to £3.00. Students can also purchase a range of individual items.
Students in receipt of free school meals will receive a daily allowance of £3.00, which must be spent either at break or lunch that day.
If free school meal students wish to purchase items over this allowance, they can do so by topping up their WisePay accounts
Students must ensure that they have sufficient funds on their Wisepay account to purchase food and drink before ordering.
Catering staff are unable to loan money to students.
If your child has not brought a packed lunch and has no money on their account, they must report to reception so parents can be contacted to discuss arrangements for that day.
